What Ignited the Social Burn?   

The concept of Social Burn was ignited at a time when human connection was temporarily lost. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to spend the majority of our time indoors — avoiding anyone outside of our households and adopting new hobbies to make up for the lack of social contact.

While self-isolation had some of us baking countless loaves of banana bread, founder Brooke made candle craft her new pastime. Dreaming of pre-pandemic parties and distant destinations, she wanted to discover a way to capture and recreate the euphoric emotions attached to these memories through the power of fragrance.

A Quarantine Hobby Turned Business  

After carefully formulating four fragrances that represented her most memorable occasions, she realized that they were something that many others would probably be able to relate to — spurring her on to share the scents that brought her pure nostalgia.

Social Burn is now a thriving female-owned business that specializes in natural soy candles with clean fragrances and edgy designs. Maintaining its artisanal charm, the entire collection continues to be hand-poured in small batches using premium natural ingredients that are 100% free from paraffin and phthalates.
